"Stg is a place to come and have a chat if needed or be around people who are not judgemental but are kindhearted."
"I just wanted to give my heartfelt thanks and deep gratitude for all of the help and support that you gave to me while I was homeless and securing me a safe accommodation. I feel very fortunate that I was housed so quickly. The kindness has been AMAZING."
"I would just like to say a thank you a million times for the wonderful support that I have received. Your kindness has overwhelmed me."
"I am a 53 year old woman who recently has had my life turned upside down, going from
31 years of 'domestic bliss' to being left destitute, homeless and abandoned by my family.
Without the help of Somewhere to Go - Joan, Julie and all the volunteers - I believe
that I would have possibly committed suicide in my absolute despair, even though I have
so much to live for.
Somewhere to Go has been and continues to be absolutely invaluable to me, providing meals, clothing, practical advice and help for someone who has no idea how the whole system of homelessness and benefits work. The emotional support and guidance have been, and continue to be beneficial to me. They found me accommodation quickly to alleviate my suffering when I was homeless and vulnerable.
I will be grateful to the people of this charitable organisation for the rest of my life and would like to record my thanks to all of them and the companies and individuals who donate what they can to improve the lives of people who are in extreme and desperate circumstances. Many thanks to you all."
"Stg is a wonderful place, always open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. If you need anything, they provide it. Excellent."
"Cheers for your help, not only with my court case, but you also thought I was good enough to help other people."
